Singer, songwriter, and producer MNEK has officially returned with “REVERSE!!,” the lead single from his upcoming album *BULLDOZER*, due September 18\. Known for blending infectious dance production with unapologetically queer storytelling, the British hitmaker delivers one of his boldest and funniest singles to date.

While “REVERSE!!” plays with the long-running stereotype that queer people can “turn” someone gay, MNEK approaches the idea with exaggerated humor rather than sincerity. Lyrics like “I can turn his duffle into a purse” and “He ain’t like this ‘round his guys” intentionally exaggerate the fantasy, flipping decades of anti-LGBTQ rhetoric into something playful and empowering. Instead of trying to convince listeners the fantasy is real, MNEK turns it into camp, creating a tongue-in-cheek anthem that celebrates queer confidence rather than taking itself too seriously.
